AISC Halloween Party

Halloween is not celebrated in Cyprus- it's probably related to the fact that everyone here is Orthodox Christian, so didn't have those Celtic roots of Samhain mixed with Puritan values to create a national holiday.  Also, while they are okay with chocolate here, they prefer Greek sweets like baklava and Turkish delight.  I just don't understand it.

There were decorations everywhere:

My coworker Anastasia modelling the facepainter's work.
I told her that she would be famous to 8 ppl in Chicago
by being a guest star on my blog.

The party was sponsored by the PTA, so there were a lot of fundraising aspects at the party, including a bunch of sweets for sale.
There was also a dunking booth- if you look closely, you can see the tennis ball mid-flight.

One of the stations was "spooky hair."  This sweet little middle school girl did my hair.
Spooky = some silver tinsel and two plastic spiders.
